Companies with the Best Tech in 2025
Sep 17, 2025
There are many factors and considerations when it comes to rating a company's enterprise tech stack. At Relha, we use the following as our main criteria to give each company we track a tech score based on the enterprise applications they use.
Redundancy - Amount of overlapping features/functionality across products (lower is better)
Legacy - Number of software applications no longer supported by the vendor (lower is better)
Vendor Ratio - Number of applications compared to the number of vendors. More applications per vendor means easier vendor management (higher is better)
Popularity - Percent of applications that are in the top 5 of their category (higher is better)
🔢 What's considered a good tech score?
A composite tech score includes all the above criteria on a weighted scale and ranges from 0 - 5. The average across all companies fluctuates between 2.5 and 3.0, so above that is considered above industry standard.
| Score | Description |
|---|---|
| <2.5 | Below average |
| 2.5 - 3.0 | Average |
| 3.0 - 4.0 | Above average |
| >4.0 | Well above average (Top 1%) |
