Position Summary

We are looking for a seasoned, hands-on engineer who operates as a champion across five disciplines: Site Reliability Engineering, System Administration, Monitoring and Observability, CI/CD Automation, and Security. This person will be embedded in the DevSecOps and SRE team and is expected to own outcomes end to end across hybrid environments (on premises and Azure/GCP). This is not a beginner level role. We need someone who has already done this at scale and can hit the ground running.

Required Qualifications

8-10 years of combined experience across DevSecOps, SRE, and release engineering in an enterprise environment

Proven hands-on experience with:

Enterprise CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent)

Azure and/or GCP security services and on premises controls

Observability platforms (Splunk, AppDynamics, Datadog, or similar)

Scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash)

Experience working in hybrid environments (on premises and cloud)

Strong understanding of SAST, DAST, SBOM, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation workflows

Demonstrated ability to define SLIs, SLOs, and manage error budgets

Preferred Qualifications

Healthcare industry or regulated environment experience (HIPAA, SOX, FDA)

Certifications: AZ 400, GCP Professional DevOps Engineer, CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent

SAFe/Agile at scale experience

Experience with feature and version control tooling, GitHub and GitOps

Familiarity with Power BI for operational dashboards

Education

Bachelors or Masters Degeree

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$92,700.00 - $185,400.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
