Job Description
Position Summary
The Labor Analyst supports the Workforce Management Manager by executing the daily operational, system-support, configuration, maintenance, and validation work required to keep the enterprise WFM environment accurate, stable, and usable. The position serves as a hands-on resource for store and field support, recurring production activities, approved configuration changes, labor-budget and data loads, schedule-cycle support, testing, documentation, and issue resolution.
The analyst works closely with Store Operations, Field Leadership, Finance, HR, Payroll, Technology, and external vendors to resolve issues, protect data integrity, and support consistent labor-planning processes.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibility allocations are approximate and may shift based on business priorities.
WFM Support & Issue Management
Provide WFM support, resolve user issues, manage tickets, and coordinate escalations.
Track recurring issues and maintain support documentation.
Configuration & System Maintenance
Execute approved system configuration changes and organizational updates.
Monitor interfaces, jobs, and data feeds; maintain change-control documentation.
Labor Planning & Schedule Operations
Load and validate labor budgets, forecasts, and scheduling data.
Support schedule generation, reconcile labor data, and monitor key planning metrics.
Testing, Validation & Production Controls
Test system changes, releases, and integrations.
Perform validations, data reconciliations, and maintain audit documentation.
Reporting, Documentation & Training
Maintain reports, dashboards, SOPs, and training materials.
Support user training, governance activities, and critical WFM processes.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Analytics, or a related field
Experience
2+ years of experience in Workforce Management, HR Systems or related field.
Technical Skills
Working knowledge of WFM platforms (e.g., UKG, Reflexis, Blue Yonder, or similar)
Understanding of WFM system technical set ups
Analytical Skills
Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis
Exposure to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) preferred
Ability to communicate insights clearly and concisely
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting retail, service-based, or multi-unit operations
Exposure to labor compliance requirements
Interest in analytical modeling, forecasting, and optimization
Knowledge of SQL, Python, R etc.

Work Requirements
Limited off-hours availability may be required for critical loads, releases, incidents, or other time-sensitive WFM cycles. Occasional travel may be required. Duties may evolve with business needs.

Location & Work Availability:
This position is 4 days in office, 1 day remote per week, based at our corporate headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina (North Hills)
