Overview
The Sr Product Analyst leads key aspects of lifecycle management for a product/service or group of products/services (from ideation to launch, and through to retirement). This role will specifically support the Product Owner responsible for building an AI-driven data pipeline for ingesting, normalizing, and enriching automotive aftermarket catalog content. The ideal candidate brings strong retail sales insight and automotive data standards expertise to guide user behavior analysis, identify high-value product opportunities, and measure the success of product initiatives.
Note on scope: this role does not own or directly edit catalog content (e.g., individual part records, digital assets, or cross-references). It leads the AI pipeline and process work that ingests, normalizes, and enriches that content at scale, working in partnership with the teams that maintain catalog data directly.
This is an on-site position located in Springfield, MO. Remote work is not an option for this position.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Monitor all aspects of a product life cycle, including long- and short-term development and marketing. Perform analyses to stay abreast of trends in the automotive aftermarket and ensure the product's competitive position.
Define and deliver products and services that meet customer needs by selecting the best possible approaches available for the AI catalog data pipeline.
Deliver defined features, functionality, or outcomes from a designated part of the pipeline development/engineering program, selecting the best available approach within established systems.
Research data from digital product/service performance, customer behavior, and automotive aftermarket trends to identify opportunities for product and pipeline improvement.
Explore issues or needs, establishing potential causes and barriers, as well as related data or catalog quality issues.
Execute the development plan for the AI data pipeline, managing project schedules, identifying risks, and communicating to project stakeholders.
Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to product usage, user behavior, and aftermarket catalog data; identify trends and patterns to uncover user needs, data gaps, and opportunities for pipeline improvement.
Edit documents in line with organizational style guidelines and prepare catalog and pipeline information for publication.
Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals.
Review the backlog of work for a small project and reprioritize the work and deployment of project resources to reduce costs and increase the value of the work delivered to the business.
Provide advice, training, and assistance to clients to resolve complex queries, ensuring the product/service capabilities and AI pipeline functionality are well understood and implemented in the context of the business.
Demonstrate the most valuable features/attributes of the AI catalog data pipeline; lead a team of demo specialists to bring the highest value to customers during demonstrations.
Develop own capabilities through assessment and development planning activities, formal and informal training and coaching, and relevant external professional accreditation. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology (including AI/ML data processing), external regulation, and industry best practices (such as ACES/PIES standards) through ongoing education, conferences, and specialist media.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level
Experience: Previous experience with automotive aftermarket catalog content (e.g., ACES/PIES mapping) and automotive retail sales; experienced practitioner able to handle most situations and advise others (3-6 years).
Managerial Experience: Basic experience of coordinating the work of others (4 to 6 months)
