Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Work You’ll Do

Participate in information technology projects, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design and development, and systems development life cycle for the development of Cloud-based technologies. Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system. Coordinate end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud by driving the design and development within the following focus areas: Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. Engage in various aspects of the full software development life cycle in connection to information technology projects, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation by directing software system testing or programming, triage of defects and change requests, escalations, and urgent issues. Perform role of counselor and coach; supervise and assign work to programmers, and engineering or scientific personnel; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team, and developers and testers by consulting on project status, proposals, or technical issues; and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications relating to information technology projects.

50% Travel required nationally

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience.

Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:

Utilizing Jira, Copado, OwnBackup, and Spanning Backup to manage design and development for Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration and APIs, and Cloud Migration;

Working with technical teams in order to architect, build and deploy multi-cloud solutions including Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud to support enterprise clients;

Defining, tracking, and measuring overall department performance and metrics, creating project charters, schedules, and plans, defining project tasks, allocating resources and monitoring project progress utilizing Microsoft Project, Tableau, Jira dashboards, Excel reports, Smartsheet, Trello, and Slack, following Agile and Scrum methodologies;

Defining systems strategy and support procedures, developing systems requirements, designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing technology solutions using Figma, Lucidchart, Avonni, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Conga Composer, Salesforce sandboxes, and Microsoft Visio;

Developing data migration plans from legacy platforms to private and public cloud platforms, using Jitterbit, Informatica, MuleSoft Anypoint, OwnBackup, Excel, Dell Bhoomi, and Salesforce Data Loader; and

Participating in the development, communication, and implementation of organizations’ DevOps capabilities, including continuous integration, continuous test automation, continuous delivery pipelines, and application monitoring, using Autorabit, Copado, Salesforce Change Set, and Selenium.

Annual Salary: $159,100.00 - $265,100.00.
